Intellectual
Property Attorney
I have been a sole practitioner since 1993. In 1999, the practice merged
with that of a retiring attorney whose practice has roots going back to the early 1950s. I am presently admitted to practice
in Arizona and am registered to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.
My educational background includes a
B.S. degree in physics from Indiana University and graduate work in physics at the University of Chicago. Subsequently,
I was employed as a chemist/process engineer for the Thermark division of Avery International.
My law degree was obtained from DePaul University cum laude
(1988). After graduation from law school, I worked for Olson & Hierl, an intellectual property law firm in Chicago, until
my family and I moved to Arizona.
