Intellectual Property Attorney

     The practice specializes in the prosecution of patents, trademarks, and copyrights, both domestic and foreign, as well as transactional work relating to same.  Prosecution includes novelty or availability searches and preparation and filing of applications for patents, trademarks and copyrights.  Patent work includes mechanical, chemical, and electrical arts, as well as some computer software. Transactional work includes drafting opinions, licenses, and agreements relating to intellectual property.  Litigation is limited to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office administrative bodies, including the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board and the Board of Patent Appeals and Interferences.    
                                                           
     The practice has roots going back to 1951 in the Phoenix metropolitan area and has recently opened a new office in Diamond Bar, California, a suburb of Los Angeles.  In both offices, clients can be confident their patent, trademark and copyright needs will be handled in a professional, cost-effective manner.
